Biography
Dr. Jennifer Pusateri is the author of Transform Your Teaching with Universal Design for Learning: Six Steps to Jumpstart Your Practice and serves as the Senior Universal Design Consultant at the University of Kentucky’s (UK) Teaching Center. Before arriving at UK, Jennifer worked for the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) as an education consultant and specialist in differentiated learning and UDL. Dr. Pusteri taught Arts & Humanities for grades K-8 at a nationally-recognized school for neurodivergent students in Louisville, Kentucky. Jennifer is also a national speaker and presenter on subjects like UDL, teaching neurodivergent students, and executive functions. www.JenniferPusateri.com
Jennifer regularly presents workshops and keynotes on subjects like UDL, teaching neurodivergent students, and supporting executive functions to PK-12 and postsecondary educators across the U.S. and Canada.
Pusateri received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music (vocal music), Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands, and her PhD in Education Sciences (with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction) at the University of Kentucky.
