Biography
Samantha Chang (she/her) is an art historian by day, a classical musician by night, and an educator always. She is the Faculty Liaison Coordinator, Teaching, Learning & Technology at the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation (CTSI), University of Toronto (U of T). Beyond her CTSI role, Samantha continues teaching music performance and art history surveys. In her educational development and teaching practices, Samantha promotes flexible, sustainable learning environments that welcome, honour, and empower diverse perspectives, communities, and ways of knowing through the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework. Samantha received the U of T Course Instructor Teaching Excellence Award in 2021 and the Arts & Science Superior Teaching Award in 2024.
