Biography
I obtained my PhD in Political Science and International Relations in 2016 from the University of Delaware. After a one year postdoc at the Center for Teaching & Learning (CTAL), I joined the Eberly Center for Teaching Excellence & Educational Innovation at Carnegie Mellon University.
As a Senior Teaching consultant, I work with instructors on campus on any issue of teaching and learning. I created and managed two programs to increase inclusion at CMU: a year-long fellowship on inclusive teaching (5 years and counting!) and a student partner program pilot to bring the student perspective to faculty. I ran a Special Interest Group for faculty on Indigenous Pedagogies and Ways of Knowing with an Indigenous faculty partner in the Spring of 24 and we are currently preparing for a graduate reading group on the same topic in the Spring of 25.
