Biography
Penny has worked in higher education for just over 20 years, starting in behavioral health research, moving into faculty and department chair roles, and finally into educational and faculty development spaces. She holds bachelors degrees in biology and psychology, a master's degree in clinical health psychology, certificates in online teaching and inclusive pedagogy, a graduate certificate in higher education leadership, and just successfully defended her dissertation for a PhD in learning sciences. Her research focuses on faculty vitality and support for higher education faculty, and for part-time faculty in particular.
