Biography
Amanda obtained her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in English with an emphasis on culture theories (mostly postcolonial and gender studies). She currently teaches composition and literature at George Mason University. Her current research involves best methods for the incorporation of generative AI tools into classrooms, using onboarding techniques and activities that align students with ethical expectations before they are invited to use AI in education.
