Biography
Dr. Fry is a Behavioral Neuroscientist and expert on the role of midbrain dopaminergic circuitry as it pertains to diverse facets of human experience, including learning and memory, reward, addiction, and neuropsychiatric illness. His work with dopamine and motivated behavior led to an observational interest in the compulsive use of smartphones among students, something which would later inspire his involvement in the tech-free teaching movement. He enjoys wandering the mountain trails and trout streams of central Pennsylvania, playing tennis, and otherwise unplugging from the modern world as much as time will allow.
