Biography

Dr. Danielle Rhubart is a rural sociologist and demographer with expertise on the social and structural determinants of health. Her teaching and research interests include diversity and health, social infrastructure, women’s health issues, and community-engaged learning. Dr. Rhubart has taught tech-free since 2018 and now leads a Teaching Community on Tech-Free Teaching and Learning at Penn State. She spends her spare time in her garden, building community, and outside with her family.
