School of Education and Human Development Assistant Professor Melissa Levy is excited to continue offering online opportunities for her Youth and Social Innovation students to engage with alumni. In in-person iterations of her course, Levy has brought in former majors living in the Charlottesville area to connect with current students to share their career paths and field questions. Hosting this networking session online is enabling Levy to invite former majors from across the country to her classes, therefore opening her students up to more diverse perspectives and post-graduate possibilities. These remote meet-and-greets are reenergizing her students, getting them excited about the future, and helping to build a community of current and former students.
