Biography
Kylie Korsnack is the Assistant Director of the Teaching and Scholarship Hub at the University of Richmond where she develops programming and consults with faculty on topics related to teaching and learning. Kylie’s research background is in literary studies and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Drawing from this expertise, Kylie regularly teaches undergraduate courses focused on science fiction, climate fiction, and first-year writing; and she leads faculty development initiatives related to inclusive and equitable teaching, accessibility, alternative assessment, and student-faculty partnerships. Kylie holds a PhD in English (Global Anglophone Literature) from Vanderbilt University, a MA in English from the University of Alabama-Huntsville, and a B.S. in Adolescent and Young Adult Education from Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining the University of Richmond, Kylie worked as a graduate fellow in Vanderbilt’s Center for Teaching and as a postdoctoral fellow in Berea College’s Center for Teaching and Learning.
