Biography
Dr. Chris Creighton is an educational developer and scholar working as an Instructional Designer at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in the Faculty Resource Center (FRC). When teaching, he works with mathematics students in introductory courses. He previously worked at Colorado State University Pueblo as faculty of mathematics and STEM curriculum specialist. He graduated from Purdue University with a Ph.D. in mathematics.
Dr. Creighton supports pedagogical and ed tech programming and consultations through the FRC. His main program is facilitating a community of practice on reimagining grading and humanistic education. An area of scholarly interest is ecological and humanistic pedagogies - education as holistic transformation.
