Biography

Dr. Drew Lewis is an education researcher and faculty developer who works as an independent consultant. He also serves as the Director of Research for the Center for Grading Reform, and previously was a faculty member in mathematics at the University of Alabama and the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Lewis has practiced alternative grading in his own courses for over a decade, and regularly speaks and writes on the subject. One of his research areas involves investigating the benefits of alternative grading for students, particularly on how alternative grading can reduce test anxiety and foster more productive achievement goal orientations.
